Q.  Where is the closest Airport?

A.  Myrtle Beach Airport ( MYR ) is 3 miles from your rental unit. 843-448-1589

Q. Any waterparks in the area?

A. Yes, there are several waterparks within 5 minutes from Bluewater Resort.

Q. What is the closest Golf Course?

A. Myrtle Beach is home to over 120 Golf courses. The closest is 'Whispering Pines Golf Course' http://www.wpinesgolf.com/golf/proto/wpinesgolf/

Q. Are any of the beaches handicapped accessible?

A. Yes, the beach is handicapped accessable, there is a ramp that takes you directly to the beach, and beach wheelchairs are available for rent.

Q. Can I make a reservation online?

A. Yes, you can make a reservation online, and be invoiced online. Just submit all your information on the inquiry page, including your prefered method of payment, email us and we will take care of the rest or call Dimi. 843-564-5588  or  DimiDo@msn.com 

Q. What kind of payment do you accept?
A. We accept personal checks, and all major credit cards.

Q. Do you require a security deposit?
A. Yes, we require, in addition to the rent a $200.00 security deposit that is fully refundable after the unit is inspected and inventory taken.

Q.  Do we need to bring linens?

A.  No, linen, towels, paper products & soaps are provided.

Q. What time can we check in and check out?

A. Check in is 3:00 pm and check out is 10:00 am.

Q. What is the tax rate applied to my reservation?

A. South Carolina tax is 13%.

 Q. How much is my initial payment?

A. 50% Rent Deposit is required to hold all reservations. For payments by Check, we will email a rental agreement for you to print, sign and return with your personal check within 14 days. Tentative Reservations that are not confirmed by a 50% Rent Deposit, $200 refundable security deposit, and signed Rental Agreement within 14 days will be canceled. Please email us at dimido@msn.com in case of a delay.

 Q. When is my final payment due?

A. The unpaid balance is due 30 days prior to check-in.

 Q. What is your refund policy?

A. A fee of 20% will be deducted for cancellations if the unit is rerented outside of 60 days of check-in. No refunds  for cancellations within 60 days of arrival.

Q. Where is the nearest Medical Facility?

A. The nearest Medical Facility is within 3 miles of your vacation rental. 843-692-1000
Q. Do you allow pets?
A. Sorry, the building does not allow pets. However there is Pet Boarding in Myrtle, call PET-O-TEL 843-448-9831 or visit the 'Attractions' section on the top menu , and scroll down to Pet Boarding.

Q. What furnishings does our rental provide?

A. Your rental is equipped with 2 comforters with Shams, 8 pillows, 2 blankets, 6 dishes, 6 forks, 6 knives, 6 spoons, 6 glassware, wine opener, stove/oven, overhead microwave, 2 cable TVs,  DVD, curtains, pictures, mirrors, flower arrangements, 2 full beds, Relaxing Chair, Armoire, Counter Dinette, 2 high chairs, 7 regular chairs, upright & dresser lamps, cocktail table, queen sleeper sofa, toaster, blender, 2 ac/heat, coffee perculator, 2 phones (local calls only) , cookware, refrigerator, hair dryer, iron, iron board, vacuum cleaner, mop, broom, 2 balcony chairs and table.

Q. Is this a smoking unit?

A. NO, your rental unit is smoke free, you can however smoke on the balcony , please make sure you do not throw discarded butts over the balcony, one of the outdoor pools is directly below the balcony.

 Q. What do we need to bring?

A. Nothing really. This is your 'Home Away From Home', but on the Beach! 

Q. Do you have an age requirement on rentals?

 A. Yes, the minimum age to rent this unit is 25, unless married.

Q. How do we get/return keys?
A. We will provide all key information when your reservation is confirmed.

Q. Can we get extra keys?

A. Yes, if more than two sets of keys is needed, please let us know before arriving for your vacation.

 Q. Can we call home?

A. Our phones are only set up to make/accept local calls. 

Q. Does your unit have access to Internet?

A. Yes we have Wireless Internet Access in the unit. You can also access  free WI-FI  in the lobby and around the pools.

Q. Does the area have attractions for kids?

A. Yes, several great locations for kids including The Ripken Experience, Nascar park, Theme Parks, and Family Kingdom down the street. Click on the 'Attractions' tab on the top menu.

 Q. Is there shopping in the area?

A. Yes, some of the best shopping around, you are just around the corner from Broadway at the Beach and several malls.

Q. Where is the Springmaid Resort & Convention Center?

A. The Convention Center is on the same street 1.4 miles or 4 minutes south of us.

Q. Do we need to bring our own beach chairs & umbrellas?

A. You may want to get your beach umbrellas & chairs. However the resort has a nice deck on the beach with chairs, umbrellas, bar & pool! Also you can rent these on the beach, including  wheel chairs. There is also a Wall Mart Super Store 7/24 three minutes away, where you may buy these items at a lower cost than renting them for your stay.

Q. How far is the Fishing Pear from the Condo?

A. The Fishing Pear is 5 minutes/miles from the Condo/Resort.

Q. In reviewing the rental agreement, we hold concerns about the cancellation policy; specifically with respect to the forfeited amount. We have no foreseen circumstances that would interfere with our plans that week; however situations do arise. Thus, I would expect some sort of forfeited amount perhaps within 30 days of cancellation, but not nearly 60% of the entire rental amount.
A.  Please note you do have the option, incase of an unforeseen situation, to pass your reservation to a friend or relation, who would meet our rental requirements, or reserve at a later date if the unit is still available. We have already met a similar situation, and it worked very well for both parties with no penalties. This provided we are notified, about the transfer, from both parties.

Q. Anything else we need to do?
A. For your comfort & health, please keep the balcony door closed, the AC on, and the Ceiling Fan on, at all times. This is in order to avoid excessive moisture condensation. Call us, if you need assistance during your stay, we are here for you, and would appreciate that very much.

 

Please ensure that the Refrigerator Freezer is not set on High, the AC is on, and the Ceiling Fan is on, when you leave the unit. Thank you.
