Q.  Where is the closest Airport?

A.  Myrtle Beach Airport ( MYR ) is 3 miles from your rental unit. 843-448-1589

Q. Would you recommend renting a car or are we close enough to groceries, restaurants and shops that we could walk?

A. You do not need to rent a car.  On your way from the airport stop at the Wal-Mart 24/7 super store, and buy your weekly groceries there. There are 2 refrigerators in the condo, one Large & the other medium. Guests normally use the large fridge for groceries, and the medium one for drinks. A number of good restaurants are within walking distance up 20th Ave S. Also a Food Lion supermarket (3/4 of a mile away), for your grocery shopping, a corner convenience store, tennis court, amusement park, golf course, and mini puts are all within walking distance.

A. Yes, there are several waterparks within 5 minutes from Bluewater Resort. The Family Kingdom waterpark is within walking distance.

Q. What is the closest Golf Course?

A. Myrtle Beach is home to over 120 Golf courses. The closest is 'Whispering Pines Golf Course' http://www.wpinesgolf.com/golf/proto/wpinesgolf/

Q. How far are you from the boardwalk?
A. We are 1.5 miles or 3 minutes, South of the Boardwalk.

Q. How far are you from Broadway at the Beach.

A. We are 5 miles or 10 minutes from Broadway at the Beach.

Q. Are any of the beaches handicapped accessible?

A. Yes, the beach is handicapped accessable, there is a ramp that takes you directly to the beach, and beach wheelchairs are available for rent.

Q. Is there a tennis court nearby?
A. Yes, there are 6 tennis courts, in Midway Park, within walking distance, at the intersection of 20th Ave S, and Kings Highway or 17 Business. You will also find there a restaurant bar called 'e noodles' were you can have a nice Asian meal, and a refreshing drink. In the lobby just below the Condo there is a racket ball court free of charge.

Q. Can I make a reservation online?

A. Yes, you can make a reservation online, and be invoiced online. Just submit all your information on the inquiry page, including your prefered method of payment, email us and we will take care of the rest or call Dimi. 843-564-5588  or  DimiDo@msn.com 

Q. What kind of payment do you accept?
A. We accept personal checks, and all major credit cards.

Q. Do you require a security deposit?
A. Yes, we require, in addition to the rent a $200.00 security deposit that is fully refundable after the unit is inspected and inventory taken.

Q.  Do we need to bring linens?

A.  No, linen, towels, paper products & soaps are provided.

Q. What time can we check in and check out?

A. Check in is 3:00 pm and check out is 10:00 am.

Q. What is the tax rate applied to my reservation?

A. South Carolina accomodation & Sales tax is 13%.

 Q. How much is my initial payment?

A. 50% Rent Deposit is required to hold all reservations. For payments by Check, we will email a rental agreement for you to print, sign and return with your personal check within 14 days. Tentative Reservations that are not confirmed by a 50% Rent Deposit, $250 refundable security deposit, and signed Rental Agreement within 14 days will be canceled.  Q. When is my final payment due?

A. The unpaid balance is due 30 days prior to check-in.

 Q. What is your refund policy?

A. A fee of 30% will be deducted for cancellations if the unit is rerented outside of 60 days of check-in. No refunds  for cancellations within 60 days of arrival.

Q. Where is the nearest Medical Facility?

A. The nearest Medical Facility is within 3 miles of your vacation rental. 843-692-1000
Q. Do you allow pets?
A. Sorry, the Resort does not allow pets. However there is Pet Boarding in Myrtle, call PET-O-TEL 843-448-9831 or visit the 'Attractions' section on the top menu.

Q. I do have a Service Dog (not a pet) who will be traveling with us. He is a standard poodle, so does not shed. I have paperwork and references if you need them and he wears his service dog cape for identification. Thank you for your consideration.

A. Yes we do accept service dogs, provided you have the associated paperwork with you to present at the front desk.

Q. What furnishings does our rental provide?

A. Your rental is equipped with 2 comforters, 8 pillows, 3 blankets, 6 table settings, glassware & mugs, wine opener, stove/oven, overhead microwave, 2 cable TVs,  DVD & TV carriage, Radio & IPOD amplifier, curtains, pictures, mirrors, flower arrangements, 2 full beds, Relaxing Chair, Armoire & 4 Drawer Chest, Counter Dinette, 2 high chairs, upright lamp & Fan, cocktail table, queen sleeper sofa, toaster, blender, 2 ac/heat, coffee maker, wall mounted phone (local calls only) , cookware, 2 refrigerators, hair dryer, iron, iron board, vacuum cleaner, mop, broom, 2 balcony chairs and table, 2 beach chairs, 1 beach umbrella.

Q. Is this a smoking unit?

A. NO, your rental unit is smoke free, you can however smoke on the balcony , please make sure you do not throw discarded butts over the balcony, one of the outdoor pools is directly below the balcony.

 Q. What do we need to bring?

A. Nothing really. This is your 'Home Away From Home', but on the Beach! 

Q. Do you have an age requirement on rentals?

 A. Yes, the minimum age to rent this unit is 25, unless married.

Q. How do we get/return keys?
A. You enter via a Key Code. We will provide all key information when your reservation is confirmed.

Q. Does the area have attractions for kids?

A. Yes, several great locations for kids including The Ripken Experience, Nascar park, Theme Parks, and Family Kingdom down the street. Click on the 'Attractions' tab on the top menu.

 Q. Is there shopping in the area?

A. Yes, some of the best shopping around, you are just around the corner from Broadway at the Beach and several malls.

Q. Where is the Springmaid Resort & Convention Center?

A. The Convention Center is on the same street 1.5 miles or 3 minutes south of us.

Q. Do we need to bring our own beach chairs & umbrellas?

A. NO, there are Beach Chairs, a Beach Umbrella, and a net full of Kid Beach Toys in the Condo. The Resort has a nice deck on the beach with chairs, umbrellas, bar, grill & pool! Also you can rent these on the beach, including  wheel chairs. There is also a Wall Mart Super Store 7/24 three minutes away, where you may buy these items at a lower cost than renting them for your stay.

Q. How far is the Fishing Pear from the Condo?

A. The Fishing Pear is 1.5 miles or 3 minutes, North of the Condo/Resort.

Q. In reviewing the rental agreement, we hold concerns about the cancellation policy; specifically with respect to the forfeited amount. We have no foreseen circumstances that would interfere with our plans that week; however situations do arise. Thus, I would expect some sort of forfeited amount perhaps within 30 days of cancellation, but not nearly 60% of the entire rental amount.
A.  Please note you do have the option, incase of an unforeseen situation, to pass your reservation to a friend or relation, who would meet our rental requirements, or reserve at a later date if the unit is still available. We have already met a similar situation, and it worked very well for both parties with no penalties. This provided we are notified, about the transfer, from both parties.

Q. Anything else we need to do?
A. For your comfort & health, please keep the Balcony door closed, the AC on, and the Ceiling & Upright Fan on, at all times. This is in order to avoid excessive sea moisture condensation in the unit. Remember you are next to the Ocean, and can best enjoy the Sea Breeze on the Balcony, Resort Deck & Beach.
