Q. It is very difficult to reach your Condo from Ontario Canada, how best can we reach your Vacation Resort. A. It's a long drive from Ontario if you have no time to stop a night over in New Jersey, and enjoy the sites on your way. If you enjoy gambling you can stop at Atlantic City, NJ, and have a room free at one of the Casinos there! If you do not care to gamble, you can stay a night in beautiful Cape May, NJ at a bed & breakfast there, then take the Ferry over to Delaware, then the Tunnel Bridge over the Great Chesapeake, have a fresh fish sandwich on the pier, then drive to Norfolk Virginia. From Norfolk you can join route 95 to go directly to Myrtle Beach, or if you are adventurous take the new highways, routes 13 &1 that go parallel to the Atlantic Ocean, all the way to Myrtle Beach. These new highways will all be linked to provide one highway from NY to Myrtle Beach in the near future, relieving traffic on route 95. If you have no extra time, and don't care for the trip, you can Fly over to MYR international airport in Myrtle Beach. We are 3 minutes from the airport. You can pick a Taxi from the airport to our Resort or rent a car from the Airport, for the weekend at a very reasonable rate, and get your groceries on the way. Once you are at the Resort, you do not need a car as all facilities are within walking distance, and there is a public transportation service that stops at the Resort. You can stay and relax at the Resort, enjoying the pools, beach, neighboring amusements & Restaurants. All within walking distance. To see a Show you will need a Taxi or plan to see the show when you rent a car on the weekend you leave to the Airport. All Shows/attractions are only 5 minutes away by car!
Q.We are coming to Myrtle Beach for a softball tournament.Was wondering if at all possible to check in on Sat the 4th and check out on Sunday the 12th, the tournament runs from the 5th thru 12th so the Sat to Sat check in and out would be hard. Is that how you book your rental?
A. Our rentals, in season, are from a Sat - Sat. However the Resort has all kinds of availabilities, and you can book directly, with them online, for an 'Angle Oceanview Executive Suite', similar to ours, and in the same building. Their price is higher than ours, therefore in order to save money, you may want to rent with us the Sat - Sat week of the 4th - 11th, and with the Blue Water Resort Hotel the Saturday night of the 11th. On Saturday the 11th, all you have to do is move your bags from our floor to another in the same building or just to another suite on the same floor. You will have to book the Saturday night of the 11th directly, online, with the Blue Water Resort Hotel. Their website is http://bluewaterresort.com.
Q. Are all the ammenities open during this time of year?
A.The indoor heated pool, SPA/Jacuzzi, Sauna, Exercise Room, Racket Ball Court & Video Game Room are available year round. Neighboring Bars & Restaurants are within walking distance, and available year round. However the outside pools open beginning May. The Restaurant, Bar & Grill, Karaoke, and theme nights by the pool occur in the summer months of June, July & August. Amusement Parks in Myrtle are available from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Q. Any waterparks in the area?
A. Yes, there are several waterparks within 5 minutes from Bluewater Resort. Click on the 'Attractions' tab in the top menu above for more details. Q. What is the closest Golf Course?

Q. What kind of payment do you accept?
A. We accept personal checks, and all major credit cards.
Q. Do you require a security deposit?
A. Yes, we require, in addition to the rent a $250.00 security deposit that is fully refundable after the unit is inspected and inventory taken.
Q. What do we do with parking passes and electronic key cards?
A. Please leave Parking Passes & Key Cards in the Unit for the next Guest. If Cards are not left or lost a $50.00 will be deducted from your Security Deposit.
Q. Do we need to bring linens?

Q. How much is my initial payment?
A. 50% Rent Deposit is required to hold all reservations. For payments by Check we will email a rental agreement for you to print, sign and return with your personal check within 14 days. A. The unpaid balance is due 30 days prior to check-in.
Q. What is your refund policy?
A. A fee of 30% will be deducted for cancellations if the unit is rerented outside of 60 days of check-in. No refunds for cancellations within 60 days of arrival.

Q. I do have a Service Dog (not a pet) who will be traveling with us. He is a standard poodle, so does not shed. I have paperwork and references if you need them and he wears his service dog cape for identification. Thank you for your consideration.

A. NO, your rental unit is smoke free, you can however smoke on the balcony , please make sure you do not throw discarded butts over the balcony, one of the outdoor pools is directly below the balcony.

A. Nothing, this is your 'Home Away From Home', but on the Beach!
Q. Do you have an age requirement on rentals?
A. Yes, the minimum age to rent this unit is 25 unless married.
Q. How do we get/return keys?
A. You enter via a key code. We will provide all key information when your reservation is confirmed.
Q. Can we call home?
A. Our phone is only set up to make/accept local calls.
Q. Does your unit have access to Internet?
A. Yes our unit has Wireless Internet Access. You can also access free WI-FI in the lobby and around the pools.
Q. Does the area have attractions for kids?
A. Yes, several great locations for kids including The Ripken Experience, Nascar park, Theme parks, and Family Kingdom up the street. Click on our 'Attractions' tab in the above menu.
Q. Does the property offer organized kids programs during the summer?
A. No, regrettably, we do not offer organized kids programs. However organized activities are provided to Snow Birds.
Q. Is there shopping in the area?
A. Yes, some of the best shopping around, you are just around the corner from Broadway at the Beach and several malls.
Q. How do we dispose of trash during our stay and before leaving?
A. You can leave the trash right outside of the door in the silver trash can by the elevator or if you go down the hall you will see signs for " Trash chute". Please dispose of all trash before leaving.
Q. Where is the Springmaid Resort & Convention Center?
A. The Convention Center is on the same street 1.5 miles or 3 minutes south of us. Q. Do we need to bring our own beach chairs & umbrellas?
A. NO, there are Beach Chairs, a Beach Umbrella, and a net full of Kid Beach Toys in the Condo. The Resort has a nice deck on the beach with chairs, umbrellas, bar, grill & pool! Also you can rent these on the beach, including wheel chairs. There is also a Wall Mart Super Store 7/24 three minutes away, where you may buy these items at a lower cost than renting them for your stay.
Q. How far is the Fishing Pear from the Condo?
A. The Fishing Pear is 1.5 miles or 3 minutes, North of the Condo/Resort.
Q. Is there a tennis court nearby?
A. Yes, there are 6 tennis courts, in Midway Park, within walking distance, at the intersection of 20th Ave S, and Kings Highway or 17 Business. You will also find there a restaurant bar called 'e noodles' were you can have a nice Asian meal, and a refreshing drink. In the lobby just below the Condo there is a racket ball court free of charge.
Q. In reviewing the rental agreement, we hold concerns about the cancellation policy; specifically with respect to the forfeited amount. We have no foreseen circumstances that would interfere with our plans that week; however situations do arise. Thus, I would expect some sort of forfeited amount perhaps within 30 days of cancellation, but not nearly 60% of the entire rental amount.
A. Please note you do have the option, incase of an unforeseen situation, to pass your reservation to a friend or relation, who would meet our rental requirements, or reserve at a later date if the unit is still available. We have already met a similar situation, and it worked very well for both parties with no penalties. This provided we are notified, about the transfer, from both parties.
Q. Anything else we need to do?
A. For your comfort & health, please keep all windows closed, the balcony door closed, the AC on, and the Ceiling Fan on, at all times. This is in order to avoid excessive sea moisture condensation. Remember you are next to the Ocean, and can enjoy the Ocean breeze better on the Balcony, Resort Deck or Beach. Call us, if you need assistance during your stay, we are here for you, and would appreciate that very much.
Q. What do I need to do for check-out?
A. All debris, rubbish and discards should be placed in the dumpster, and soiled dishes/pots/pans cleaned. Leave the trash right outside of the door in the silver trash can by the elevator or if you go down the hall you will see signs for " Trash chute". Dispose of all trash, leave Parking Passes & Key Cards on the counter for the next Guest, and please ensure that, the AC & Ceiling Fan is on, all windows & doors are closed when you leave the unit.
